RE: It just got to be hurting, Can't be only regional.

I agree with what itsalleasy said. Half the people here are saying the economy is great and if people are hurting its their own fault. The other half are saying that things are bad and will get worse. Have we as a country last com- passion for people ? Do we not care if someone loses their job and everything they have worked for ? Personally, my husband and I are not hurting right now, as we are retired and have a draw a comfortable retirement. But I am concerned for my children and grandchildren because who knows what they might face in the future. We have started to cut back and conserve just in case. I'd rather be prepared than sorry later. My son-in-law lost his job last year when they relocated to Mexico. Sure, he found another job finally, at a lot less pay. Anybody that thinks they are above ever being in a financial crunch are just fooling their selves. Just my thoughts!

RE: MPG& Mileage spreadsheet

When we get ready to take a trip, we use the trip planner on this site. It gives you good sam parks along the way and other options. I just print it off and take it with us, We love it !

RE: RV Vacuums?

We have the central vacuum system in our fifth-wheel and it works great. Recently we bought a dirt devil stick vac for the tile floors in our house and it really has the suction power. It would also be great for the rv.

RE: RGV Water

When we visited the valley we were told that if you had high blood pressure to drink bottled water due to the salt content in the water. Since I take medication for high blood pressure I'm sure glad that I was informed of it. The campground had this information in the literature that they gave us when we checked in.
